Not only is it block break but it's also a holiday weekend.
Need something to read on the plane or waiting for the turkey to cook? Try this. Wwhile it might ramble at points, overall it is a fun, quick and enjoyable read.
High tech and low tech, two sisters experience their young adult lives unfolding. Full of family and .coms: one is a Silicon Valley insider, the other becomes an indexer of rare cookbooks. Really it is two stories, one about each sister. Emily, the older sister, is the CEO of Veritech at age 28; she is driven and seems happily committed to an equally driven executive who unfortunately lives on the east coast. Jess is younger, 23, and struggles with her gradulate philosophy studies, moonlighting as an environmental activist and part time rare bookstore employee.
Key words: sisters, women executives, rare books, self-actualization
Tutt has 4 other novels by Goodman if you enjoy her work:
Intuition : a novel
Kaaterskill Falls
The other side of the island

I really liked this book. I'm a big fan of Allegra Goodman. My favorite book of hers is probably Intuition, which I reviewed here:
