Tutt Library Closed for Memorial Day Holiday

The Tutt Library will be closed all of Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday, May 28 through Monday, May 30). The library will re-open at 8:00AM on Tuesday, May 31.

Library Closings: Monday 5/23 (AM), Tuesday 5/24 (PM), and Thursday 5/26 (all day)

The Tutt Library will be closed the following days and times:

• Monday, May 23: closed until 1:00 PM for Colorado College Commencement. Library will be open from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.
• Tuesday, May 24: closing at noon for all-campus picnic. Library will be open from 8:00 AM to noon.
• Thursday, May 25: closed all day due to campus maintenance.

The Doors at CC Homecoming, 1967

On October 21, 1967, the Doors played at Colorado College's homecoming dance at the Broadmoor Hotel. CC alumnus Tom Reynolds donated his tape of the concert to Tutt Library in 2005. It contains four Doors songs: "Break on Through (to the Other Side)," "Strange Days,""People Are Strange" "Back Door Man," and "Light My Fire."
