On October 21, 1967, the Doors played at Colorado College's homecoming dance at the Broadmoor Hotel. CC alumnus Tom Reynolds donated his tape of the concert to Tutt Library in 2005. It contains four Doors songs: "Break on Through (to the Other Side)," "Strange Days,""People Are Strange" "Back Door Man," and "Light My Fire." For more information on the concert, visit Special Collections.
Wow, this is an outstanding material you have here. There is no other source (that I know of) of a live version of The Doors performing "Strange Days". I'd love to be able to listen to the version, if possible.
Thanks, Alex

Hi Alex, bad news: the song isn't "Strange Days," it's "People Are Strange." We'll fix the post soon.
The only way to listen to the recording is to visit Colorado College Special Collections. The Doors have not given us permission to make any of the recording available via the internet. Sorry! But if you can come to CC, we'll be happy to play the whole recording for you.
