We are randomly encountering error messages along with screen formatting problems when using Ebsco databases (Academic Search Premier, Business Source Premier, MLA, GeoRef, etc.) The most common problem is an error message: "Application level exception". Ebsco has been notified of the problem.
A new "improved" Ebsco interface seems to be incompatible with our proxy server (the mechanism which authenticates CC users with the Ebsco databases. ) Internet Explorer users appear to have more trouble than Firefox users, but all encounter occasional problems. A temporary solution is to use the links listed below. These links will only work ON CAMPUS.
