Prospector and Gold Rush down Mon. 12/17

The Colorado Alliance of Research Libraries is making changes to the underlying architecture of their website. The Alliance hosts Prospector (the Colorado unified library catalog) and Gold Rush (our journal/article finding service).

Here is the information from the Alliance:

On Monday, December 17, 2007, the Prospector system will not be operational since a network upgrade is planned. Prospector is hosted by the Colorado Alliance of Research Libraries and on that day the consortium will be installing a newer higher capacity Internet connection through a new Internet Service Provider (ISP). The outage will start around 8am in the morning and Prospector, along with other services hosted by the consortium, will be out most of the day.

Last day for ILL books is 12/10; Prospector books 12/18; ILL articles 12/19

Monday, December 10 will be the last day any books will be ordered through the ILLIAD Interlibrary Loan system before winter break. Interlibrary loan ordering for books will resume on Monday, January 7.

Wednesday, December 19 will be the last day any articles will be ordered through the ILLIAD Interlibrary Loan system before winter break. Interlibrary loan for articles will also resume on Monday, January 7.

New book requests through Prospector can be placed until Tuesday, December 18. Prospector borrowing for books will resume on Thursday, January 3.
