Tutt Library is hosting a meeting of over 60 liberal arts college library directors October 1-3. Among the topics on the agenda: strategies for managing our libraries in the new economy; next generation library catalogs; the open access movement; book arts and the liberal arts. Why is it called the Oberlin Group? Oberlin College hosted the first meeting of 60 liberal arts college library directors in 1986, and it has been called the Oberlin Group ever since.
