Tutt Library Celebrates Halloween

 
Come in and check out our new Halloween display and while you’re at it, check out a scary book or video.  We have an array of spine chilling works like Poe’s “The Raven” and Clive Barker’s Books of Blood.    If you’re looking for books by the prolific American horror writers Stephen King or Anne Rice, we have some on display and many more in Tutt North Basement (King’s books start at the call number range PS 3561.I483, Rice is at call number PS 3568.I265).  We also have both classic and more modern movies on video tape, from Frankenstein to Nightmare on Elm Street parts 1 and 2.   

 And don’t forget, we have DVDs too.   Click on “Find Videos” from our home page, and use DVD as a search along with words like horror or terror.  Bring the DVD call number to the Circulation Desk and staff will retrieve the DVD for you.  Examples of scary films we have on DVD are Psycho (PN 1997.P79 1998), Alien (PN 1997.A3 1999), and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (PN 1997.T398 2006).
