Tutt Library just joined BookBrowse, a nifty reader-oriented database that offers in-depth reviews, "if you liked this book, try these ones next" suggestions, themed lists (eg Coming of Age, On the High Seas, 18th Century,...), lengthy excerpts, a bookfinder genre-mash-up tool, author interviews, and more. You can also subscribe to ezines which highlight the site's newest additions. Offcampus or on, just go to http://www.bookbrowse.com/tutt!
It's definitely worth a visit, especially for fans of historical fiction, literary novels, memoirs, and narrative nonfiction. If you're exclusively a science fiction, fantasy, romance, mystery, poetry, or graphic novel fan, well, this may not be your favorite book community ever. Might we suggest, respectively, io9, tordotcom, Smart Bitches Trashy Books, Stop! You're Killing Me, poets.org, or Grovel, instead?
Still searching for that perfect book? Don't forget to check out our Readers' Advisory page for further pleasure reading suggestions.
Thanks for the mention of my website - I'm always dead chuffed when we get spotted by people who really know their books!
