We're experiencing some glitches. As of 2:30 on Aug. 7 2013 (Wednesday) the links as listed in Tiger and Find Journals for subscription databases and journals may not be working. The issue is related to a library server upgrade.
Here's how to get around this while the elves work on fixing the problem:
1) You must be on a computer on campus (laptops/mobile devices must be on tigernet rather than the ccguest network)
2) Remove the "proxy wrapper" from the link. The proxy wrapper is the "0-" and "tiger.coloradocollege.edu" that surrounds the first part of the link.
For example, with JSTOR:
http://www.jstor.org/ will work on campus.
Academic Search Complete:
http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?authtype=ip,uid&profile=ehost&defaultdb=a9h will work on campus.
Sorry for the inconvenience, we hope this will be fixed soon!

p.s. the reason we are experiencing this problem is because we changed library servers and with that comes a change of address. It takes some time for a change of IP address to propagate throughout the Internet. Try this link a few times to see how some servers have our new, correct IP address (74 ...) while some servers still have the old, incorrect IP (198 ...)
