All the rain we've been getting in Colorado Springs is taking a toll at Tutt Library. The blue you see above - tarps and bins - in the atrium today are there to collect drips from the roof. Fortunately the facilities crew are on it (along with multiple other locations on campus). We're just not accustomed to all this rain.
According to an article in today's Gazette, Colorado Springs has already exceeded its annual average for precipitation. As of yesterday, the airport recorded 17.31 inches of water which is more than an inch above the city's annual average (roughly 16 inches of precipitation).
