In preparation for the renovation to Tutt Library, staff have been “weeding” the collection. We are carefully examining older monographs, periodicals and government documents as to whether they should be retained in the library’s collection. During this process we have stumbled across many things tucked away in between the pages. The notes, photographs, slips, and other things used as bookmarks remind us of the CC students, faculty and staff who have come and gone before us, a rich history that will continue building into the future.
We look at these mementos with reverence and at the same time we wonder: will someone find the things we've left in books 20, 50, 100 years from now?
