How will I get books from Tutt Library?
Search the TIGER catalog and once you click into a result record, you will see the red button at the top of the page if the item is requestable. (Note that web links : Journals, Electronic books, videos, pdfs, etc. will not have this button since you can go directly to those resources.)
Clicking the red button will take you to a login page. (Your login is your last name and your gold card number.) Once logged-in you can click on the request selected item button.
The bottom section of the request page gives the schedule of retrieval for when you can pick the item up from the Circulation Desk.
How can I view and check requests I've made?
You can monitor your requests by logging into MY Tiger Record Account. You can get to that from the navigation bar on the right on the Tutt LIbrary home page or from within the Tiger catalog on the right side navigation bar. (Note that this is the same place you check Prospector requests.)
What if the item says it's being requested what should I do?
If the item has a due date or is requested the record will show that it is on hold or being requested or checked out. It will show both in the Tiger record and in the box for requesting the item. In which case, you will want to use Prospector to place a request.
How can I cancel requests I've made?
If you want to cancel a hold, you need to go into MY Tiger Record Account. You can get to that from the navigation bar in the Tiger catalog. You can also cancel Prospector requests there.
