We hope you are all having a wonderful (albeit chilly) December so far. As usual, Prospector and ILL services will be winding down for Winter Break soon. Here are all the details (and please forgive the capitalizing and bolding; we just REALLY want to make sure no one gets caught out):
IMPORTANT: Tutt Library will be closed over Winter Break. Prospector or Interlibrary Loan books that do not arrive before noon on Dec. 22 cannot be picked up until the library reopens on January 9, 2017. Please carefully read the deadlines below.
PROSPECTOR BOOK REQUESTS:
The Prospector system for borrowing books will be turned off during Winter Break. Many academic libraries will also cease lending around this time. The last day to request Prospector items will be Thursday, December 15, with no guarantee that items will arrive before closing at 5:00p.m. on December 22 . Prospector requests will be possible again on Monday, January 9, 2017.
INTERLIBRARY LOAN BOOK REQUESTS:
Out-of-state books ordered through Interlibrary Loan must be ordered no later than Monday, December 12, in order for them to have the best chance of arriving before Winter Break starts (and even this cannot be guaranteed). Requests submitted over Winter Break will not be processed until Monday, Jan. 9, 2017.
